Our strategy is to invest in propositions that display very high scalability in their business model and lay emphasis on generating solid cash flows. Irrespective of the deal with respect to its size, sector or geography, after establishing the basic value proposition, the three most important factors for considering an investment by us are “CMC” standing for Cash Flows, Management & Customers.
CASH FLOWS – We take a critical look at historical and projected cash flows and subject the same to thorough sensitivity analysis. Unless we satisfy ourselves about a business’s ability to generate positive cash flows even under adverse business conditions, we refrain from making an investment commitment.
MANAGEMENT – We look for a very strong management team in terms of their background, experience, credibility and reach in the market place. We refrain from investing in companies that do not possess requisite management bandwidth. A reference check is done on the management without exception.
CUSTOMERS – We believe in the good old saying `Customer is King’ and would like to invest in companies who have demonstrated their abilities to at least create a solid marquee customer base. Customer references form an integrated part of our evaluation process.
