Strategic Ventures Fund exits Nasdaq-Listed CBaySystems The SVF fund managed by India-focused PE firm Frontline Strategy, generated 4x returns on its almost decade-old investment. Strategic Ventures Fund (SVF), managed by Indian private equity firm Frontline Strategy, has exited medical transcription software and services provider MedQuist Holdings (formerly CBaySystems) for an undisclosed sum, SVF has disclosed.

Strategic Ventures in India with $50 m fund ONE more venture capital fund has moved into India. The US-based Strategic Ventures Fund (SVF) Ltd is now looking for investment opportunities in the country with a warchest of $50 million. This India-focussed venture capitalist and private equity fund, launched barely two months back, will be looking mainly at the Information-Communication-Entertainment (ICE) segment for investments, Mr Atim Kabra, Managing Partner of Frontline Strategy LL P, who is the investment manager of the fund, told Business Line.

Frontline Strategy picks up 26 pc stake in Shriram SEPL Mauritius-based Frontline Strategy has picked up 26 per cent stake in Shriram SEPL Composites for an undisclosed sum.  "We generally invest USD 5-15 million in a project and stay put for three to five years," a Frontline Strategy official said. He, however, declined to reveal the actual amount of investment in the firm.

Frontline Strategy's IIG Fund Invests USD 7 mn in Krishna Saa Fabs Mauritius-based Frontline Strategy Ltd, a Fabiani Family Office-anchored asset management company with prime focus on private equity investments, today announced an investment of USD 7 million in Krishna Saa Fabs Private Limited.
