Strategic Ventures Fund was incorporated in Mauritius in Year 2000, with a mandate to invest in both private and public limited companies across sectors. It has nearly completed its lifecycle – 15 investments, 9 full exits and 3 partial exits have been generated across sectors like Engineering, Defence, Pharma, Power Ancillary, IT and BPO.

Some of its key investments are Astra Microwave - a defence-electronics company, CBay Systems - a Healthcare BPO, Shilpa Medicare - a Pharma API company specializing in oncology, Titagarh Wagons - a large railway wagons manufacturing company, Alfa Transformers - a power transformer manufacturing company.
