Raman founded CBay in 1998 which is US-India company. He is responsible for devising CBay’s overall global business model, strategy and management. Under his leadership and guidance CBay Systems has become the 3rd largest healthcare transcription technology and services company in the USA and the largest healthcare BPO Company in India, employing over 5200 staff within its wide network across India and the United States. Raman has over 22 years of experience in managing public and private companies. He started his career in the Indian Revenue Service in 1984, which he quit in 1991 to join the private sector. Prior to founding CBay, Raman worked as a Senior Vice President with the multi-billion dollar, diversified Indian conglomerate, The Essar Group. Raman did his B.A (Hons.) and M.A from St. Stephen’s College, New Delhi. He attended the School of Organization and Management at Yale University in 1988.
